Masters Grand Prix are regular track and field meetings for veteran/masters athletes from the UK and overseas.

Each fixture will include sprints, middle distances and some combination of jumps and throws.  The events will be run under UK Athletics rules, electronically timed and all results submitted to Power of 10.  Races will be performance graded regardless of age making for highly competitive competition.

See extended summaries from our 2018 summer outdoor events in Sheffield and Lee Valley, our indoor event held at EIS Sheffield in spring 2019 and our late summer event at Sheffield in 2019.

Masters status starts at 35 years old and that is the only requirement to getting involved.  No club affiliation is required.  You can find out more about Masters Athletics within our ‘What is Masters Athletics‘ article.

Our aim is to get as many Masters athletes involved and competing, showing that age is no barrier having fun and taking part.  Just come along and aim to achieve your own personal best.

The first Masters Grand Prix at Sheffield in 2018 was a revelation - great atmosphere, cool music, clear and relevant commentary, electronic timing and quick results, all held together by great MC-ing from the legendary Jenny Meadows
